The process usually takes around 1-2 hours. We can visit your home, work or even car dealership to perform the installation. (UK mainland only) If you want us to connect your dash cam to the vehicle via the vehicle fuse board rather than the 12V cigarette lighter port, you will need the hard wire kit – this is included within the cost of the installation, or it can be purchased separately if you prefer a DIY installation. Fully insurance approved installers Professional installation included at home, work or dealership The cost of installation is £90 for the front facing camera only, or £140 for both front & rear cameras – these prices include the hard wire kit that is required for the installation (worth £20). We aim for all installations to be completed within 14 days from order, but usually sooner than this. Please note, we only install at UK mainland addresses excluding islands and highlands. If you are unsure if your address is included, please get in touch and we will be happy to confirm. A full refund will be issued if we are unable to carry out the installation at your preferred address. Failed installations Once you have booked a suitable installation date with our dedicated install team, you will be sent a confirmation email with the agreed date and location. We will then send you a reminder email the day before your installation and you will also receive an update on the day of the installation with a time window when the driver is on the way. If nobody is present at the installation address and the install is unable to be completed, an additional charge of £90 will apply if you wish to arrange another date.
