Note: Not suitable for electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles Installation Process Once you have purchased the SCORPION S5 tracker from our website, you will be contacted by our installation team who will arrange a suitable time and place to install the tracking device to your vehicle. If you have not purchased a subscription with the device, Scorpion will contact you to arrange this and take payment – please see subscription options below. Please note, we only install at UK mainland addresses excluding islands and highlands. If you are unsure if your address is included, please get in touch and we will be happy to confirm. A full refund will be issued if we are unable to carry out the installation at your preferred address. We aim to complete all installations within 14 working days from order. Please note: It is necessary to perform a wire cut on the vehicle ignition electrical circuit for the immobilisation feature. In some cases, this is not possible depending on the vehicle type. Cancelled/Failed installations & returns Once you have booked a suitable installation date with our dedicated install team, you will be sent a confirmation email with the agreed date and location. We will then send you a reminder email the day before your installation and you will also receive an update on the day of the installation with a time window when the driver is on the way. If you wish to change the agreed installation date for any reason, there is no charge providing we are notified at least 2 days prior to the agreed installation date. There will be a cancellation charge of £60 for cancellations where we are given less than 48 hours notice. For example, if the installation day is booked for a Wednesday, the last day for cancellation without incurring a charge will be by close of business (5pm) on the Monday of that week. If nobody is present at the installation address and the install is unable to be completed, an additional charge of £60 will apply if you wish to arrange another date. If the hardware is returned to us after a failed installation, £60 will be deducted from the refund amount for the failed installation. Please note, the product and all packaging must be in perfect, unused condition for us to offer a refund. The buyer is responsible for return postage costs.
