This ring is required when using a MB-43X matte box as a clip-on on a lens with a front lens diameter of 95 mm (for wide angle lenses). Note: The step down ring from MB-43X to 114 mm is required! Note: Allthough 114 mm wide, this ring is not compatible with MB-2XX matte boxes. This ring will vignette in combination with MB-2XX matte boxes.
