Description 1/2″ Female Funny Elbow Use the 1/2″ Female Funny Elbow fitting to connect your PVC pipe to funny pipe. The advantage of funny pipe is that it provides flexibility. This is to get around obstacles and cushions your sprinkler head to protect against damage in high traffic areas. Funny pipe is attached on barbed fittings and may be clamped into place. It is mainly used to connect a sprinkler head to a lateral line, usually PVC, through a swing joint. A swing joint is a pipe joint constructed so that the parts joined are movable either so that one of the parts can be rotated relative to the other.
