Description 1/2″ Male Funny Adapter Use the 1/2″ Male Funny Adapter fitting to connect your PVC pipe to funny pipe. It provides flexibility to get around obstacles and cushions your sprinkler head to protect against damage in high traffic areas. Funny pipe is attached on barbed fittings and, depending on the job at hand, may be clamped into place. This pipe mainly used to connect a sprinkler head to a lateral line, usually PVC, through a swing joint. A swing joint is a pipe joint constructed so that the parts joined are movable either so that one of the parts can be rotated relative to the other.
